Job Description:

1. Manage all accounting transactions: This involves overseeing and recording all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and other financial activities.
2. Prepare budget forecasts: Create financial forecasts and budgets to help the company plan its financial activities.
3. Publish financial statements in time: Prepare and release financial statements in a timely manner, which provides insights into the company’s financial performance.
4. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings: Ensure that financial records are closed and reconciled at the end of each accounting period.
5. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable: Match and verify invoices, payments, and receipts to maintain accurate records.
6. Ensure timely bank payments: Ensure that bills and other financial obligations are paid on time.
7. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns: Calculate taxes owed by the company and prepare necessary tax returns in compliance with tax regulations.
8. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements: Maintain and update these financial reports to reflect the company’s financial position accurately.
9. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity: Provide financial reports and analysis to assess the company’s financial well-being and its ability to meet short-term financial obligations.
10. Audit financial transactions and documents: Review and audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
11. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary: Safeguard financial data and perform data backups to prevent data loss.
12. Comply with financial policies and regulations: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial laws, regulations, and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Work experience as an Accountant with a minimum of 3 to 5 Years in UAE: The candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in the United Arab Emirates.
2. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures: A strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations is required.
3. Hands-on experience with accounting software: Proficiency in using accounting software for financial data management.
4. Advanced MS Excel skills: High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, which is often used for financial analysis and reporting.
5. Experience with general ledger functions: Familiarity with general ledger accounting and the ability to manage financial records effectively.
6. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills: Precision and analytical thinking are crucial for accurate financial reporting.
7. BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is the preferred educational qualification.
