Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities:

Job Purpose: As an Accountant – Receivable and Payable, your primary goal will be to support the company in maintaining accurate financial records and optimizing financial transactions and systems. Your responsibilities include:

What You’ll Do:

1. Perform reconciliations of payments and customer accounts to optimize financial transactions and systems.
2. Strengthen and grow client relationships by effectively communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts.
3. Collaborate with relevant project teams to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting at project and company levels.
4. Provide support in analyzing and reporting financial information for assigned projects.
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, prepaid and accrual schedules, and balance sheet schedules.
6. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely billing of sales orders in coordination with the procurement department.
7. Prepare reconciliation schedules for related party and intercompany transactions & balances.
8. Assist in preparing cash flow reports and treasury reports on a regular basis.
9. Perform daily bank reconciliation and update cash flow records.
10. Collaborate on various ad-hoc assignments to contribute to the financial well-being of the company.
11. Handle all aspects of Oracle and be proficient in handling queries related to the system.
12. Review and approve purchase invoices in the Oracle system and follow up with procurement for supporting documents.
13. Maintain supplier reconciliation and follow up on outstanding payments.

Requirements:

• ACCA Qualified, CA Inter, or M-Com with a minimum of 6+ years of UAE experience (must)
• Strong mathematical skills and an understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Oracle ERP.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
• Strong communication skills to effectively follow up with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
