Accountant Full Time

Experience:

Monthly Salary:

• AED 8,000 – 10,000, which is approximately $2,161 – $2,701 (subject to exchange rate fluctuations).

Job Description:

• The Accountant’s main responsibility is to ensure that all financial records and reporting are maintained accurately and up to standard.
• This role involves working with third parties such as government departments, banks, and auditors to manage the company’s finances.
• The Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and work with a team.
• Key responsibilities include managing accounting transactions, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, handling bank payments, generating financial reports, preparing financial statements, budget forecasting, monitoring the department’s financial health, liaising with auditors, ensuring data confidentiality, complying with financial policies and regulations, and more.
• Additionally, the Accountant may need to work with financial and accounting software used by the company and document business processes and accounting policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• The ideal candidate should have knowledge of budgeting and accounting practices, especially in the context of government departments.
• Strong record-keeping and interpersonal skills are required.
• Proficiency in ERP software and advanced computer skills, including MS Office, is necessary.
• The candidate should be able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The qualification requirements include a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance and professional qualifications like CPA/ACCA/MBA (Finance) or an equivalent qualification.
• The candidate should be between 35-40 years of age and have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in a government department.
• The preferred nationality for this position is Indian, and the candidate should be based in the UAE.
