About the Job:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager with a deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). If you are a qualified professional with a background in accounting, hold qualifications such as ICWA or ACCA, and possess expertise in IFRS, we invite you to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of accountants responsible for managing the financial accounts of our diverse client portfolio.
- Ensure the accurate preparation of financial statements, adhering to IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate closely with clients to provide expert guidance on financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and accounting best practices.
- Conduct financial analysis, identify key trends, and offer strategic insights to clients to enhance their financial performance.
- Manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors and resolving audit queries in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain financial data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting significant financial indicators for the clients.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in IFRS and accounting regulations, ensuring clients’ ongoing compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in client accounting operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional qualification such as ICWA or ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
- Strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their practical application.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Leadership experience and a proven track record of managing accounting teams.
