Job Description and Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing Optasia’s Mobile Financial Services business with telecom operators in the region. The role involves identifying, developing, and capturing new business opportunities in the mobile telecommunications sector. Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in the development of short-term and long-term objectives.
• Involvement in the proposal process, including budgeting, pricing, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships and understanding their requirements.
• Triaging customer requirements and priorities with a consultative selling approach.
• Cultivating and maintaining superior customer relationships.

Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• An existing network of C-Level Clients.
• Proficiency in English, French, and Spanish (Tri-lingual).
• At least 10 years of experience in sales and business development in the mobile telecommunications sector, preferably in the specified region.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and culturally diverse environment.
• Strong negotiation, closing, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to coordinate and report into different Business Units.
• Prioritization skills and the ability to align offerings with client requirements.
