Head of Market and Credit Risk Full Time

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in one of the leading financial service providers in Dubai? Equiti Group is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Market and Credit Risk to join our passionate team in our hybrid office setting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Market Risk Management:

• Develop and review market risk limits aligned with our risk appetite.
• Ensure the correlation between risk appetite and liquidity/capital position.
• Craft market risk policies and procedures for group risk committee approval.
• Monitor market risk exposures, maintain adherence to risk limits, and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain data integrity for market risk reporting.
• Produce insightful market risk reports for executive management.

Credit Risk Management:

• Develop and review credit risk limits in line with our risk appetite.
• Align risk appetite with liquidity/capital position.
• Create credit risk policies for group risk committee approval.
• Design robust credit risk policies for third-party exposures.
• Review and assess credit allocated to clients.
• Produce comprehensive credit risk reports for senior executives.
• Contribute to vendor risk assessments and enterprise risk management.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of risk management experience, including credit and market risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets.
• Experience working with regulators, auditors, and third-party suppliers.
• Financial services experience, preferably from a brokerage background.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
