Roles & Responsibilities:
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Interior Fit-Out Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural drafting, particularly in interior fit-out projects. As an Interior Fit-Out Draughtsman, you will collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to produce accurate technical drawings and plans that align with project specifications and requirements.
- Drafting and Design: Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for interior fit-out projects, considering architectural and design elements, spatial arrangement, and functionality.
- **Transform conceptual designs into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings using CAD and BIM software.
- Material Specifications: Collaborate with design and project teams to select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings for interior fit-out projects.
- **Ensure that materials chosen are feasible, sustainable, and align with the project’s budget and aesthetic goals.
- Coordination and Communication: Work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design intent.
- **Communicate effectively with team members to address any design discrepancies, changes, or modifications.
- Quality and Accuracy: Ensure that all technical drawings and plans adhere to industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
- **Review and revise drawings as necessary to maintain accuracy and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation: Maintain a well-organized repository of drawings, plans, and project documents for easy reference and retrieval.
- **Prepare documentation necessary for project approvals, permits, and client presentations.
- Project Support: Provide support during construction phases by addressing queries and clarifications related to technical drawings.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to interior fit-out design and drafting.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Fit-Out Draughtsman or similar role in the architecture or construction industry.
- Proficiency in using CAD software (AutoCAD & Revit) is a must.
- Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
