Roles & Responsibilities:
As an HR Generalist in this role, the key responsibilities include:
- GDRFA & MOHRE Transactions:
- Processing visa applications, renewals, and cancellations through the GDRFA system.
- Handling labor transactions, including work permits and contract issues, using the MOHRE app and website.
- Emirates ID & Medical Applications:
- Managing Emirates ID applications for new hires and renewals.
- Coordinating with healthcare facilities and handling medical applications for employees.
- Visa & Insurance Processing:
- Coordinating and overseeing the entire residency visa process for employees.
- Administering and managing medical insurance for employees, including liaising with insurance providers.
- Flight Bookings:
- Arranging and managing employee flight bookings for various travel needs.
- Liaising with travel agencies and airlines to secure the best rates and schedules.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assisting the HR team in recruitment processes, such as posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires and ensuring proper documentation.
- Employee Relations:
- Addressing basic employee concerns and queries.
- Assisting in coordinating and executing employee engagement activities and events.
- Training & Development:
- Conducting skills gap analyses to identify training needs.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of training and development programs and making adjustments as needed.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintaining records of training programs, participants, outcomes, and feedback for compliance and improvement.
- Other Duties:
- Handling other HR tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Requirements for this role include:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Generalist, or similar role in the UAE.
- Proficiency in using the GDRFA system, MOHRE app, and website.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and efficiency skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
This role involves a wide range of HR responsibilities, including visa processing, employee relations, recruitment, and training and development. The candidate should have a good understanding of UAE HR processes and regulations.
